Intrado Upgrades 9-1-1 Support
Longmont, Colorado-based Intrado, a provider of communications systems for the support of emergency 9-1-1 calls, said that it has added new services for supporting 9-1-1 calls and new technology like VoIP. The firm said that it has upgraded its Intrado Intelligent Emergency Network, its IP-based 9-1-1 system, to providing better automatic location information, wireline, wireless, and VoIP 9-1-1 calls. Intrado's products support support for VoIP calls into native 9-1-1 networks.
