Uber's Otto Makes First Self Driving Truck Delivery In Colorado

Colorado is the first state in the nation where a truck has autonomously delivered a load of cargo, according to Uber. Uber said that its Otto autonomous truck navigation technology delivered 45,000 cans of Budweiser beer last week from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs. Uber and Anheuser-Busch--which released a video this morning of the delivery--said the truck traveled without a driver at the wheel, with only technicians monitoring the drive from the truck's sleeper. The video shows drivers (likely, on I-25) driving by the driverless truck, with no driver in the front seat. The truck was emblazoned with Budweiser and Otto's logo.
