Canopy Plans Big Expansion, To Double Workforce In Utah
Lehi, Utah-based enterprise software developer Canopy, which develops cloud-based software used for practice management by tax and accounting professionals, says it has big growth plans in Utah, with plans to double its workforce in Lehi. The company announced it has officially opened its new headquarters today in the state, which it says "dramatically" increases its footprint. Canopy, which is led by founder and CEO Kurt Avarell, says it now has three of five floors, or nearly 80,000 square feet, at the new corporate space at 4100 North Chapel Ridge Road. Lehi is a major headquarters location for Utah's growing technology industry. Canopy says its new facility includes such employee perks as pickleball and basketball courts, gym, library, stocked kitchens, BBQ grills and a smoker for the BBQ enthusiasts, and maternity/paternity rooms.
