Canopy Rolls Out Mobile App

Lehi, Utah-based cloud-based tax and accounting practice management software developer Canopy has rolled out a new mobile app, to help tax professionals to better keep their client information up to date. According to Canopy, the app, which works both on iOS and Android, is free, and lets tax professionals access personal, team, and client files, including contact information, client records, and tax documents in Canopy's system from their smartphone. Canopy says the app uses data encryption, two-factor authentication, and other security and device management tools. Canopy is led by founder Kurt Avarell.
