Overstock's Medici Ventures Backs VinX

Salt Lake City-based Medici Ventures, the blockchain investment arm of Overstock.com, said on Thursday that it has made an investment in VinX, an Israeli company developing blockchain software to secure the wine futures trading industry. Size of the investment was not announced. According to Medici Ventures, VinX is working on creating a token-based "digital wine futures" which allows for selling and trading of wine futures, based on blockchain.
