Overstock.com Keeps Up Price War

Salt Lake City-based Overstock.com said it will continue to undercut Amazon.com, at least for the next week. Overstock.com triggered a price war with Amazon.com last week, after vowing to sell its books at least 10 percent Amazon.com. In response, Amazon.com quietly cut the prices on its books to the lowest level seen in recent history. Overstock.com said it plans to keep undercutting Amazon.com at least for "one more week". Overstock has been looking to gain some customers and attention from its promotion.
