Avnet Expands In Silicon Valley

Phoenix-based technology distributor Avnet is expanding its footprint in Silicon Valley, saying this morning that it has created a new "Design Center of Excellence" in San Jose, California. The company said the design center is the first in its Americas region. The center will focus on design, engineering and on-boarding new products, according to Avnet. Avnet has another nine of those design centers around the world.
