Clean Chemistry Scoops Up Three Patents

Boulder-based Clean Chemistry, a developer of technology for water treatment, said today that it has received three patents from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The company said the three patents, numbered 9,551,076 , 9,517,955 and 9,517,956, cover the processes used for its liquid concentrate oxidant. Clean Chemistry's PeroxyMAX product is used for treating water used in hydraulic fracturing (fracking), helping to separate out fluids, floating oil and dropping solids in that waste water. All three patents name Dr. Wayne Buschmann, Clean Chemistry's CTO and Co-founder, as sole inventor. The earliest patent was filed on May 31, 2012, with Clean Chemistry represented in the patent filing by Meyertons, Hood, Kivlin, Kowert & Goetzel, P.C.
