LANDesk Trumpets Six New Patents

Salt Lake City-based LANDesk Software, the developer of IT service management software, is trumpeting six new patents for its technology today. The firm said that so far, in 2012, it has received six new patents, bringing its total patent count to 34. The patents cover a number of features in its IT service management software, security policy, endpoint security, and software deployment, among others. LANdesk said it has 48 patents still pending approval.
