Control4 Buys Triad Speakers

Salt Lake City-based smart home control products developer Control4 announced this morning that it has acquired Triad Speakers, a developer of high end speakers. Control4 said it would pay $9.6 million in cash for Triad, which it said had approximately $9M in revenues in 2016. Control4 said the buy will deepen ints offerings in integrated audio. Triad's founder, Larry Pexton, as well as the rest of its team, will join Control4. Triad is based in Portland, Oregon.
