Coalfire Buys Veris Group

Westminster, Colorado-based cybersecurity services provider Coalfire announced on Wednesday that it has acquired Veris Group, a cyber risk advisory firm. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Veris provides cyber risk advisory, compliance assessment, technical testing, and engineering services, according to the companies. Coalfire said the acquisition was funded in part by new equity investments from The Carlyle Group's U.S. Middle-Market fund and affiliates of The Chertoff Group.
