Prescient Wins 12 Apartment Project Deal With Trammell Crow
Arvada, Colorado-based Prescient, which is combining expertise in both software and structural systems design to make it easier and faster to build apartments, dorms, senior living facilities, and hotels, unveiled a partnership with Trammel Crow Residential (TCR) this week, covering 12 apartment projects in Denver. Prescient unveiled the first two completions out of that relationship this week. Financial details of the deal with Trammel Crow have not been announced. Prescient said that the first project, Alexan Uptown, is a 12-story, 372-unit apartment building in Denver, the tallest structure to date in the city. The second completed project is The Alexan Cherry Creek, which has 156,000 square feet based on Prescient's structures, and is eight stories with 164 units. Prescient--led by Satyen Patel--has developed technology which combines the custom manufacturing of steel structures with design software.
