CPI Card Group Names Operations VP

Littleton, Colorado-based CPI Card Group, which provides production of EMV chip cards for the financial industry, said this week that it has named Jason Bohrer as its Senior Vice President of Operations. Bohrer previously had been at HID Global, along with Indala and Motorola. The company said Bohrer will lead its U.S. operations, managing teams responsible for production, quality, research & development, process engineering and global security. EMV chip cards are the new, chip-enabled cards being used by credit card issuers to prevent fraud, and also have heavily been in use in Europe for many years.
