Whiteclouds: We're Now The Largest, 3D Printing Services Firm In The World

Need a lot more of that custom, 3D printed part you've just prototyped? Or just someone with a much better 3D printer than you have? Ogden, Utah-based Whiteclouds says it is ready to help you out, with a huge fleet of 24, full color 3D printers from 3D Systems. The company says is the largest, 3D print services operation in the world, with a new, 60,000 square foot facility and ability to manufaccturer 3D printed products for the architecture, medical, prototyping and entertainment industries. The company is led by Jerry Ropelato. The company's professional level, 3D printers are a big step up from the more prevalent, but less capable consumer level 3D printers; those professional 3D printers--and in some cases, are not just used for prototyping parts, but actual production parts (albeit, in much smaller volumes). 3D printing--although it's just now gaining the attention of consumers--has been around since the 1990's.
