Advanced Energy's Shuttered Solar Inverter Plants Goes Up For Auction

The assets of Fort Collins, Colorado-based Advanced Energy's shuttered solar inverter operation are being sold at auction later this month, according to the auctioneer behind the sale. Heritage Global Partners says it is selling off the assets of AE Solar Energy in Oregon, Colorado, ONtario, Germany, and China over the next three months, at a series of auctions related to the strategic decision by Advanced Energy to wind down the inverter business. Advanced Energy shut down its inverter unit back in June.
