Luca Technologies Assets Go Up For Auction

Some of the equipment assets of ill-fated Luca Technologies have gone up for auction this week, by a liquidator of scientific equipment. According to auction company BioSurplus, it is auctioning off a wide range of scientific equipment from Luca. Luca Technologies had been working on microbes to help stimulate the production of natural gas from coal, but had filed for bankruptcy in July. The company is current in Chapter 11.
