Tech Media Network Acquires Publisher Of Tom's Hardware

Ogden, Utah-based Tech Media Network continues to expand out its publishing empire, and has acquire Bestofmedia Group, which publishes the popular Tom's Hardware, Tom's Guide, and Tom's IT Pro online information technology publications. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced by the company. Bestofmedia was venture backed by Index Ventures, and had raised around $35M in funding. Tech Media Network, which now has locations in New York, ogden, Culver City, and France, is backed ABS Capital Partners, Highway 12 Ventures, and Village Ventures.
