R.H. Donnelley, Dex Media Approve Merger

Yellow pages publisher R.H. Donnelley and Englewood, Colorado-based Dex Media shareholders have approved the company's merger, the companies reported yesterday. The firms said that the merger was approved by 99.3 percent of RHD shares and 82.4 percent of R.H. Donnelley's shares at the shareholder meetings. The companies expect to close the deal at the end of this month. Dex Media provides Internet and print directories for the west and midwest, and is the publisher of Qwest's white and yellow page directories.
