Advanced Energy Deploys In India

Fort Collins, Colorado-based Advanced Energy, the developer of of photovoltaic (PV) inverters, is taking on the Indian market, with a new partnership in the region. According to Advanced Energy, it has partnered with the Bergen group, to service the Indian PV market. Advancd Energy said that they are working on a pratnership to deploy a 1 megawayy ground-mounted array in Kalanaur, in the state of Haryana, India. Financial details of the partnership were not announced. Advanced Energy say sthat India has a goal of installing 20 GW of solar power by 2020. Two of AE's 500kW utility-scale inverters are being deployed at the site in Kalanaur.
