Arrow Electronics Buys Altimate Group

Englewood, Colorado-based Arrow Electronics has acquired another European distributor of computing products, Altimate Group, the firm said today. Arrow said it has signed a definitive agreement to acquired Altimate Group, a subsidiary of DCC plc., which will help complement its value added services and offerings in the EMEA region. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. Altimate was headquartered in Velizy-Villacoublay, France, and has 250 employees, with fiscal year sales of $298M for the year ended March 31st, 2011.
