Arrow Electronics Buys TechTurn

Englewood, Colorado-based Arrow Electronics said today that it has acquired TechTurn Ltd., a provider of electronics asset disposition (EAD) and recycling services. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. TechTurn, which is based in Austin, has 135 employees. Arrow said TechTurn's sales are expected to exceed $50M in 2012. TechTurn takes technology devices that are returned or recycled from businesses and consumers, tests them, and processes or sells those devices.
