Quark Acquired By Private Equity Firm

Denver-based page layout software developer Quark has been acquired by private equity firm Platinum Equity, the private equity firm said this morning. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. According to the firms, Platinum Equity is working on transitioning Quark to new ownership, to focus on Quark's core markets and create an acquisition strategy to expand the breadth and depth of its products and geographic coverage.
