Cool Energy Finds Funding
Boulder-based Cool Energy, which develops Stirling-engine based, clean energy and power generation systems, said this morning that it has scored a round of funding. The funding came from Idealab, the California-based operator and incubator of technology companies. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed. Cool Energy's technology is a low-temperature Stirling engine used for waste heat recovery and combined heat and power systems for buildings and residences. Cool Energy was founded and is headed by Sam Weaver.
