Cool Planet Finds New Funding
Greenwood Village, Colorado-based Cool Planet, whic is developing technology that converts carbon dioxide into an agricultural soil amendment, said today that it has raised an additional financing round. Size of the new funding was not disclosed. The funding was led by Northbridge Venture Partners, and also included Hong Kong-based Yung's Enterprise. Cool Planet also said, in conjunction with the funding, it has named James Loar as the company's EVP of its Biocarbon Business; Loar joins from agricultural retailer Wilbur-Ellis Company. Cool Planet's other investors include BP, Google Ventures, the Constellation division of Exelon, and Energy Technology Ventures. More information »
