Spectra Logic Claims Record Results
Boulder-based data storage firm Spectra Logic announced Thursday that it had "record-setting" results for the first half of its fiscal year 2011. The firm, which did not disclose any actual financials, said it posted "strong profits" for the first half of the year, increasing its revenues by 34 percent and enterprise tape library revenues by more than 60 percent year over year. The firm attributed the increase to "unrelenting" data growth at its customers, and in particular, strong demand for its enterprise class tape libraries.
