Overstock.com Adds Jack Byrne Back To Board

Salt Lake City-based e-commerce firm Overstock.com said Wednesday afternoon that it has named John J. "Jack" Byrne as a board member. Byrne is father of Patrick Byrne, the CEO of Overstock.com, and has previously been a board member of the company. John J. Byrne had resigned from Overstock's board in 2006 after disagreements over the younger Byrne's highly visible battles with short sellers and stock analysts.
