inContact Names Security Chief

Salt Lake City-based InContact, which develops contact and call center management software, is bolstering its security efforts today, saying that it as appointed a Chief Security Officer for the firm. The company said it has named Scott Welch to the position, as the firm has received certification under the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) standard. Welch has been at the company for the last six years, and continues on as Chief Operations Officer at the company.
