JDA Wins Chinese Grocer

Scottsdale, Arizona-based JDA Software has signed on a Chinese grocery retailer, China Resources Vanguard Co., Ltd, as a customer, the firm said today. JDA said that the grocer is using the firm's supply chain Category Management suite as part of a merchandising effort. Size of the win was not disclosed. China Resources Vanguard Co., Ltd., operates nearly 2,700 stores in 16 provinces and nearly 100 cities across China. JDA said China Resources Vanguard is the largest retail chain in the Chinese Mainland and Hong Hong, with sales of RMB $63.8 billion and more than 150,000 employees.
