Solid State Networks Ships Game Publishing Tool
Tempe, Arizona-based Solid State Networks, a provider of content delivery network services to the computer games industry, has shipped an updated game publishing tool for game developers. The firm said that CURRENT 3.0, the firm's platform which helps game developers download, install, patch, and launch games, has been released. The new tool is available for free of charge, and also includes links to Solid State Networks' paid offerings. Solid State Networks offers its CDN services--based on peer-to-peer technology--to computer games developers, who often have to transmit large files and updates to end users.
