Tempe, Arizona-based Solid State Networks, which develops content delivery software based on peer-to-peer networks, said Thursday that it has signed on Digital Media Exchange, Inc. as a customer. According to Solid State Networks, DME will use its game delivery solution to deliver Dekaron, a massively-multiplayer online game. Digital Media Exchange will use Solid State Networks to deliver content to Southeast Asia, including Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Solid State's technology is based on using the BitTorrent peer-to-peer technology for delivering content, games, and other large files to Internet users.
