Ascent Solar Names Sales and Marketing VP

Thornton, Colorado-based Ascent Solar announced today that the firm has appointed Rafael Gutierrez as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. The firm, which is developing thin-film solar modules, said that Gutierrez joins from Seagate Technology, where he was General Manager of Consumer Electronics in that firm's Consumer Solutions Division. Gutierrez had been at Seagate for over 18 years.
