Ascent Solar Names COO

Thornton, Colorado-based Ascent Solar said early this morning that it has named Rafael Gutierrez as the company's new Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Gutierrez was most recently a Seagate Technology, and also had recently been at Micro Technologies and Ampt. However, Gutierrez is also a returnee to Ascent Solar, where he had been Senior VP of Sales and Marketing at the company from 2009 to 2011.
