Omniture Names New Sales VP

Orem, Utah-based web analytics firm Omniture has named a new Vice President of Sales for the firm's Omniture Insight unit. The firm said Alan Gurock has been appointed to the position, joining the company from Business Objects. Gurock was most recently Group Vice President, North American healthcare and Eastern Region at Business oBjects. Gurock has also served at Informatica and ADP. Omniture Insight is the firm's business intelligence software used for analyzing retail and other data to better understand customer behaviors and preferences. The software was formerly known as Omniture Discover OnPremise.
