JDA Software Buys Part Of German, Polish Firms

Scottsdale, Arizona-based JDA Software Group, a developer of supply chain management software, said Thursday that the firm has acquired 49 percent of Germany-based Strategix Enterprise Technology GmbH, and related Polish firm Strategix Enterprise Technology sp. z. o.o. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed. JDA said that the move also gives the firm the future option to purchase all of the remaining shares of both companies, which develop software for the manufacturing and retail market.
