Intermap Signs German Wireless Firm

Denver, Colorado-based GIS provider Intermap Technologies said today that it has signed on E-Plus Group, a German wireless network provider as a customer. Intermap said that E-Plus will use the firm's 3D, digital terrain maps for all of Germany and surrounding border countries as a part of an effort to optimize antenna locations for its service. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Intermap's databases will be used to determining antenna heights, field strength, and coverage in the region.
