JDA Software, i2 Technologies Acquisition Off

Scottsdale, Arizona-based JDA Software and i2 Technologies have called off their merger plans, according to i2. According to i2 Technologies, it has terminated its Agreement and Plan of Merger with JDA Software, which was originally announced in August. Reason for calling off the merger effort was not given. JDA Software had said it would pay $346M in cash for i2 and its related Iceberg Acquisition Corp. subsidiary. i2 said it expects to receive a $20M termination fee from JDA witin three business days. Both firms develop supply chain software.
