Acoustic Technologies Acquired By Cirrus Logic

Mesa, Arizona-based Acoustic Technologies, a developer of embedded firmware for voice processing, has been acquired by analog and mixed signal semiconductor developer Cirrus Logic. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Acoustic Technologies provides noise reduction, echo cancelation and voice enhancement software used in embedded systems. As part of the acquisition, Cirrrus Logic said approximately 30 employees from Acoustic Technologies have joined the company.
