GE Fanuc Completes SBS Technologies Buy

GE Fanuc Embedded Systems has completed its acquisition of Albuquerque, New Mexico-based SBS Technologies. SBS Technologies designs and builds computer boards and systems for the industrial, military, and commercial aircraft and communications markets. The firm produces single board computers and modules based on CompactPCI, VME, and PC/104, and other technology. The acquisition was worth $215M, $16.50 cash per share of SBS Technologies common stock.
