Sparxent Adds Penguin's Pesatori to Board

Sparxent Inc. reported Monday that it has appointed Enrico Pesatori to its board of directors. The Salt Lake City, Utah-based IT consulting firm described Pesatori as technology veteran with more than 40 years of relevant experience. Pesatori, Sparxent said, is currently chairman and chief executive of Penguin Computing, a role he accepted in 2003. Before that, Sparxent noted, he was CEO of BlueArc. He has also held senior management roles with Compaq, Tandem Computing, Digital Equipment Corp. and Olivetti.
