Sparxent Completes XAware Buy

Salt Lake City-based Sparxent reported Tuesday that it has completed its acquisition of Colorado Springs-based XAware, a developer of open source, XML data integration software. Financial terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed. Sparxent originally announced the acquisition in May. The acquisition of Sparxent is the third for the firm, which has been on a buying spree acquiring softare, development, IT consulting, and other firms focused on medium-sized companies.
