Vericept Raises $8M

Denver-based Vericept Corporation, a provider of data leakage prevention products, said Wednesday that it has raised $8M in an additional funding round. The funding was led by Sigma Partners. vericept said the funding would allow the firm to expand sales and drive to profitability. Vericept's software is used to monitor and protect sensitive data in enterprises, such as credit card information, personal customer information, and other data. The firm said it expects that the funding round will allow it to achieve profitability in 2009. More information »
