Vericept Gets Win At Andarko

Denver, Colorado-based Vericept has scored a win at independent oil and gas exploration firm Andarko Petroleum. Vericept said that the oil and gas producer has selected the firm's Risk Management Platform to protect the firm's data and to ensure compliance regulations and acceptable use policies. The size of the deal was not announced. Vericept is a provider of content monitoring security tools for the enterprise, and is funded by Globespan, Sequel Venture Partners, Sigma Partners, Visa International, and William Blair Capital Partners.
