Avnet Tapped By Customer

Phoenix-based Avnet Electronics Marketing America said Thursday that it has received an award from one of its customers, Vishay Intertechnology, for its sales performance during 2007. Vishay Intertechnology is a manufacturer of discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components used in the electronics industry. Avnet said it was selected as "Distributor of the Year for the Americas." The award was given based on Avnet's sales performance and its "corporate and field alignment with Vishay."
