PaySimple Selects Sharp as BizDev VP

Denver-based PaySimple, a publisher of payment management software for businesses, reported Monday that it has hired David Sharp as vice president of business development. PaySimple said Sharp's primary role will be to develop a horizontal market strategy for broadening the company’s sales distribution network. He most recently served as vice president of business development for Global Payments Inc.'s western region. Prior to joining Global in 2000, Sharp managed TransFirst’s southeastern sales territory. And, according to PaySimple, he currently serves on the Western States Acquirers Association advisory board and on the Awards and Recognitions Committee for the Electronic Transactions Association.
