Local Insight Media Buys Hawaiian Yellow Pages

Englewood, Colorado-based Local Insight Media, which operates both print and Internet-based telephone directories, said Tuesday that it is in a definitive agreement to acquire Hawaiian Telcom Yellow Pages. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to Local Insight Media, the deal calls for it to enter into a 50-year publishing agreement for Hawaiian Telcom. Local Insight Media was advised by Wachovia Securities and Merrill Lynch & Co., on the deal.
