ePayments Acquires Check Recovery Firm

Denver, Colorado-based ePayments, a provider of electronic payment processing and support services, said Wednesday that it has acquired Mobile, Alabama-based Automated Check Recovery (ACR). Financial terms were not disclosed. ACR provides check payment services to educational institutions, including school districts. ePayments said no reduction in staffing at either firm will occur as a result of the acquisition.
