Aztek Hires Execs

Boulder, Colorado-based Aztek Networks has hired a CEO and VP of Marketing. Aztek, which just announced a Series A round of funding, said that it has named Steven M. Bruny as CEO of the firm. Founder Mark Edler will remain with the company as Chief Technical Officer. Aztek has also named Spencer Punter as VP of Marketing and Business Development. Bruny was most recently at Azure Solutions. Punter has served as a venture capitalist with Bay Partners, Bowman Capital, and also has worked at Integral Capital Partners. Aztek is developing emergency switching and IP gateway products for the communications industry.
