Aztek Networks Gets Win In North Dakota
Aztek Networks, a Boulder, Colo.-based manufacturer of voice communications switching products, revealed Monday that a regional telecommunications company in North Dakota has selected an Aztek product to ensure network reliability. Aztek said it will deploy 10 of its 5000S Emergency Stand Alone units throughout Northwest Communications Cooperative's regional network. The financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Aztek explained that its emergency stand-alone systems help ensure uninterrupted local calling capability and access to 911 emergency services. NCC provides telecommunications services to some 6,000 residential and business customers in northwestern North Dakota.
