JDA Completes i2 Buy

Scottsdale, Arizona-based JDA Software reported Thursday that it has completed its acquisition of i2 Technologies. The acquisition was worth approximately $604M. J2 said it paid $19.79 per common share for i2, a supplier of supply chain management software. JDA said it will save around $20M annual through combining operations, administrative functions, and infrastructure costs in the deal. JDA was advised by Goldman Sachs and DLA Piper in the deal, with i2 advised by Thomas Weisel Partners and Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. JDA said it would buy i2 in November.
