Virtela Announces SSL Solution
Denver, Colorado-based Virtela announced this morning that it has rolled out a new, virtualization network-based SSL VPN service combined with MPLS. The company said that it is targeting small- and medium-sized businesses who are looking to provide SSL-based remote access into enterprise network resources. The new service specifically targets SMB customers, using existing web browsers. Virtela provides IP virtual private network services, and is backed by NEA, Newton Technology Partners, North Coast Technology Investors, Norwest Venture Partners, and Palomar.
